resembling my photo

am actually beginning to resemble my b&w high contrast photo these days. I feel so pale as a result of going to part-time work in a refrigerator environment (the later in the afternoon it gets, the colder i become) and the bleaching that comes from being dipped in chlorinated water 3x a week. the last straw will be my hair getting even more white hair strands.

i'm changing yet again. i find myself becoming so conventional. is this what 20 somethings inevitably become?

dude! hahaha. where do you doing part time work?

conventional isn't so bad as long as we find ourselves still having fun.

"where do you doing part time work?"

okay, even your ENGLISH is suffering. bwaahahahaha.

i'm working at ITI Consulting in Eastwood part time. 4 hours a day, I teach French corporate people English. Not many sessions booked these days. Should pick up soon. :)

I spend half the time making a lesson plan in work, and the other half reading Anthony Robbins: "Awaken the Giant Within". !

presently they're focusing on corporate training, but the edge of the philippine office of course is relatively cheaper english language training.

its a call center! well, not conventionally. we have 30-90 minute conversations with people from places like BNP Paribas, Alcatel, 3M, etc. and they're dispersed around Western Europe. so we actually call ppl up in France, Germany, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Italy, etc. and work with them through a computer software interface on both ends. A lot of our clients are French though, and a lot of people working here have some knowledge of French. I'm hoping to be able to absorb some stuff as a side benefit from working here. :)

haven't told too many people yet of my part time job. he he.

on a side note: i got a call from P&G last week. apparently there was some sort of a mistake. ;) hopefully i get scheduled for interviews this Feb.

hey fabian, good to hear p&g might have some sense after all. i don't think you're becoming more conventional, although i think i do know what you mean. it's like this big threatening cloud hovering over everyone in their twenties. and you know what the scariest thing is? lines like:

"conventional isn't so bad as long as we find ourselves still having fun."

haha. im kidding len. although i am honestly alarmed.

ps transamerica!
